This was a particularly interesting alter. The art was based, roughly, on Charles de Steuben’s 1818 painting ‘Napoleon’s Return from Elba’, (below) but with Narset and a suitably Tarkir-ish crowd replacing Napoleon and his admirers. It’s always a fun challenge, copying old paintings, but converting them into Magic: the Gathering universe counterparts was a cool twist.
