Here’s a recent border extension alter I finished of Candelabra of Tawnos, one of the most iconic classic artifacts in Magic: the Gathering. I extended the original art across the full frame of the card, and painted a simple room into the background using the same color palette to keep the scene cohesive. The goal was to give the Candelabra a setting that feels grounded without distracting from the original focal point. As always with border extensions, this MTG alter was done by hand with fine detail and a focus on preserving the card’s original, simple art style.
